Privacy Policy

ZenActivity, BeTimed, BeReady Multi Timer, BeWalking, and 10k Steps still use this address. BeWalking is moving to bewalking.app. 10k Steps is moving to 10ksteps.net. Write to app@shapeclock.com and name the app.
Those apps do not sell personal information, and this site does not collect anonymous usage information about them. A permission the system asks for — Health, motion, notifications, or anything else — is used for the feature you turned on, on the device, unless that app tells you otherwise. Purchases, if the app has them, are handled by Apple. We do not receive your card number. This website has no account and no contact form.
The short version
ShapeClock is a clock. It does not ask you to create an account. We do not sell personal information, and we do not collect usage analytics.
On the device
The face, games, and night settings are computed on the phone. Mode, theme, and night settings can follow your other devices through iCloud. That sync is Apple’s. There is no ShapeClock account, and we do not run a server for the clock.
Notifications
A wake alarm can post a notification on the device. We do not run a notification server.
Sharing
If you share a picture of the face, it goes only where you send it with the system share sheet.
Purchases
ShapeClock is a paid app. Apple processes the payment. This website does not sell it. We do not receive your card number.
If you write to app@shapeclock.com, we receive the message and the usual email headers so we can reply. We use that only for support. We do not sell inquiry lists.
This website
shapeclock.com does not use a contact form or an account. The host may keep ordinary server logs (such as IP address, browser, and the page requested) for security. The typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives a request from your browser.
What we do not do
- No account or sign-in
- No advertising identifier and no tracking across other companies’ apps
- No anonymous usage analytics
- No sale of personal information
Children
ShapeClock is a clock. It is not a social network and is not directed at children as account holders. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website.
Your choices
- Turn notifications off in iOS Settings. The wake alarm will not notify you.
- Manage iCloud for the app in iOS Settings.
- Delete the app to remove its on-device preferences.
- Manage the purchase with your Apple ID.
- Email us to ask for access to, or deletion of, information you sent by email.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change.
Terms
If an app uses shapeclock.com for terms, the same address applies. A purchase, if the app has one, is handled by Apple, not by this website. ShapeClock is a clock and a way to practice reading it. It is not professional, medical, or educational advice. Questions go to app@shapeclock.com.
